Restoration Church is lead by Rocky & Alexis our amazing family, and an incredible growing team. We've been married for 23 years and have 4 kids. We met in 1997 working in an NGO helping at risk youth in the City, and then felt called to simply love and serve people. Since then we have had a wild adventure of raising a family, working for NGOs, the Ministry of Education in Social Work and Youth Work as well as Pastoring in many forms.

 

For the last 10 years we had the wonderful privilege of serving on staff at Grace Vineyard on the senior leadership team and also in many pastoral roles including Youth and Young Adults, most recently as Campus Pastors. These years were incredibly special & formative in our ministry and we are forever indebted to our time spent at Grace.

We have a deep desire to see the same love and hope of Jesus that weve experienced and that has transformed our lives reach others in this beautiful city of Ōtautahi Christchurch, to see Restoration come to every life and every sphere of society. For us success has always been best described as “faithful obedience”, establishing Restoration Church is simply an outworking of this. We love to create safe places and spaces of connection, vulnerability of whānau & tūrangawaewae.
